The Challenge

As the culmination of a year’s hard work and growth for the University of Brighton’s Graphic Design MA, we had high expectations for the branding of our show. The design needed to be forward-thinking and innovative, reflecting the creativity and dedication of our year group.

The Solution

First, we brainstormed a name for our show, settling on “Fuse” as a bold and simple name reflecting the fusion of our talents. We then discussed design styles, with the concept of fusion being illustrated through references. I then worked on an initial logo idea, which my classmates then worked to refine – the concept of a dot grid with fluid connections.

From there, we developed the brand, George D-A developed a typeface from our concept and the team helped out with creating assets. With this, I designed the social media templates, posters, and window graphics.
